Hello viewers, Welcome to my Tech Blog!
I'm Enoch Singano, though most people know me as KM. I'm a Cybersecurity Specialist, Post-Quantum Security Researcher, and Technology Policy Advocate passionate about building a secure, resilient, and inclusive digital future.
Originally from Malawi, in southeastern Africa, I combine technical expertise with creativity—from securing digital systems and researching next-generation cryptography to composing music in my home studio, KM Studios.
In a world where technology evolves at an unprecedented pace, my work sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, post-quantum security, internet governance, and emerging technologies. I focus on preparing digital infrastructure for the quantum era by exploring secure architectures for the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, AI-driven systems, and next-generation internet technologies.
Beyond my professional work, I'm an active contributor to global internet and security communities. I contribute to the Quantum Security Defence Working Group and participate in two Internet Research Task Force (IRTF) research groups:
- Crypto Forum Research Group (CFRG) – bridging cryptographic theory and real-world practice by developing and reviewing new security protocols.
- Quantum Internet Research Group (QIRG) – exploring secure architecture, routing, and interoperability for future quantum networks.
Since 2025, I have also been an active member of the Internet Society (ISOC) Malawi Chapter, where I contribute to two global workstreams:
- Online Trust & Safety – promoting safer online experiences and strengthening digital trust.
- Open and Trustworthy Internet (Policy & Advocacy) – supporting policies that advance an open, secure, and globally connected Internet.
In addition, I am an active member of the Malawi Youth Internet Governance Forum (Youth IGF), where I engage with young leaders, policymakers, and technical communities to shape Malawi's digital future through inclusive internet governance and digital policy discussions.

🚀 Top 15 Internet Society Global Youth Ambassadors (2025)
– Selected from over 1,800 global applicants to represent youth voices in shaping internet governance, champion cybersecurity and digital rights, and promote a free, open, and secure internet. Proud to be the first-ever selected from Malawi 🇲🇼.
In this role, I traveled to Norway, Europe to speak at the 20th United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF)—engaging in presentations, panel discussions, high-level & open mic sessions with youth leaders across the globe and with organizations such as the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), Internet Research Task Force (IRTF), International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and the European Union Parliament, Throughout IGF, I advocated for youth inclusion in global digital policymaking and secured a platform for youth voices within major internet governance bodies.
See some photos below: - 🏆 Africa’s Top 15 Cyber Team (Ages 18–25) – International Cybersecurity Challenge, Athens, Greece (2022) – At the age of 21, I was part of the final seleclted 15 African cyber talents that proudly represented Africa at one of the world’s first elite international cybersecurity competitions in Athens, Greece, a capture-the-flag, attack-and-defense style event, contributing to global cyberdefense strategies and solutions against cyber threats.
- 🏆 Winner – Lesotho Public Financial Management Hackathon (2023) – Led a team that developed **SignIT**, a digital authentication system integrated with Lesotho’s national ID to securely authenticate transactions in the IFMIS for the Ministry of Finance. Our innovative solution took Position 1 honors out of 51 African teams, proving tech’s power to transform governance.
- 🔬 Pioneering Researcher in Post-Quantum Security – Leading work in securing critical infrastructure, IoT, and smart cities against quantum-powered cyberattacks, contributing toward resilient digital ecosystems in line with United Nations SDG 9 & SDG 11.
